Bucks welcome Raptors for home opener

11/01/2008 - (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - After splitting their first two games on the road, the Milwaukee Bucks return to the Bradley Center for the first time in the 2008-09 season to face off with the talented Toronto Raptors.

Richard Jefferson scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds, as the Bucks spoiled the first regular season game in Thunder history, beating Oklahoma City, 98-87, on Wednesday.

Michael Redd also scored 20 for the Bucks, who lost in Chicago Tuesday night.

Charlie Villanueva also scored 20, and he also grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds in the victory.

Meanwhile, Toronto stayed unbeaten on the young season after Chris Bosh finished with 31 points, including four in a dominant overtime period, during a hard-fought 112-108 win over the Golden State Warriors Friday.

Anthony Parker finished with 23 points for the Raptors, who earned their fourth straight home opening victory.

Steady point guard Jose Calderon added 16 points and 13 assists and brought down five rebounds in the win for Toronto, which will attempt to open a season with three consecutive victories for the first time since 2004-05,

The Raptors have won two straight over the Bucks and three of the last four meetings between the two clubs.
